“Expensive” Thoughts

“I am behind.”

“I am exhausted.”

“I don’t have enough training, experience, time…”

“I don’t belong.”

These kinds of thoughts drain you. They don’t help you find solutions because they release cortisol, which hijacks your amygdala and clouds your creativity.

What would change if you noticed your unhelpful thoughts? Named them as “expensive”?

And then opted out.

How might your life be different if these kinds of “expensive” thoughts did not replay on a ticker tape in your life?
